making contact

If I’ve said something you disagree with, agree with, or want to add to please go right ahead and use the comment section. That’s what it’s there for. However, I would remind you that this is my site. It is not a democracy. If I don’t like your comment I may delete it, disemvowel it or mercilessly mock it depending on my mood at the time. Of course, a lot of that unpleasantness could be avoided if you replay that comment you’re about to submit in your head first, and weed out any glaring presumptions, privilege and attitude problems. If you think about how what you say sounds to others first, I’m sure we’ll get along just fine.

I do like to chat to new people so if you need to contact me just email me at shinynewcoin at gmail dot com.

I especially appreciate correspondence related to book deals, cushy jobs or novelty cheques for vast sums. In case you have any of those things to offer.

  • as copied from above:
“I’d like you speak your piece in the public forum”
“hand over a novelty cheque for a vast sum”
    “use it wisely”

in reference to these quotes i would like to use this opportunity to let you know that i have one billion dollars that may be of some use to you.

    good day to you.

Dale, if you choose to part with that billion dollars I can tell you it would be well deserved by yours truly and put to good use propping up this flailing global economy. Please wire it to my offshore account immediately.

  • ahhh yes, novelty cheques.

do you ever feel sorry for those poor, poor people on the gameshow “Deal or No Deal” when they collect their final prize of $50 at the end of the show, and they bring out a giant novelty cheque?
    it’s like overkill
    or
laughing in their stupid, loser faces.

either way i appreciate the absurdity.

  • it’s no small thing, to blog. sorry I don’t have a blank cheque to give you but I can put you in touch with people who can ;)

but why is it a shame that we use our time to share our thoughts with others? should we not use this new medium to express ourselves and engage with others?
